My name is Alexe. I'm 5ft tall and I wear gloves for kids...small size! If you pay attention to my fingers in the pic, you'll see how hard it is to find a way to keep my hands on the bike while I'm using the break lever. Now I'm really proud to be part of the Loeka team wearing clothes that fit me!
I first tried dh bike with my sister 7 years ago. I started the Québec race cup in the middle of the 2009 season and finished 2nd overall. I also won 2nd place in 2010 and I finally got first place for the Québec Championship at Mont Ste-Anne, a pretty sick track!
The bike season is really short here... In the winter time, I put on my skis to become a coach for the team at Stoneham resort.
I'm 26 years old. I'm not cranked as the other girls here. But I really love biking and I'm trying hard to be faster and better everytime I ride. What I like about racing is that I can try so many different tracks and always push the limit on how my lines could be better and faster.
