I started mountain biking two years ago and have been hooked since my first hematoma. Since then I've managed to accumulate a collection of six bikes. I enjoy all types of riding, including downhill, cross-country, dirt jumping, urban and commuting to work. If I'm on a bike I'm happy!
I was introduced to downhill racing this past season as a member of the EB Chicka's race team. Thanks to my coaches Kelli Sherbinin and Amber Zirnhelt, as well as great support from my teammates, I had a great season! I really loved that racing pushed my riding to a new level and I look forward to achieving new riding goals in the 2008 season.
When I'm not on my bike, you'll find me with my camera in hand. I'm an avid photographer, especially when it comes to mountain bike photography. I've photographed Crankworx, the Bearclaw Invitational and various other mountain bike events and local races. I also regularly work with Endless Biking and recently had the opportunity to work on the 2008 Loeka catalogue. Photography has helped me to become more involved in the mountain bike community, often volunteering my time to help promote women's mountain biking.
I am looking forward to what promises to be a very exciting and fun season with both the Loeka Team and the EB Chickas!
