Jackie Harmony - Tucson, AZ
I was born in Richmond, BC about 29 years ago. I spent about 12 years in a small town just outside of Kamloops, BC and enjoyed every minute of it. I now reside in Tucson Arizona for the winter, the rest of the year I live on the road. At least that is how I have spent the last few years.
I was fortunate enough to go on a mountain bike ride with my husband about 8 years ago and fell in love with riding a bike and being outdoors. My everyday life revolves around riding mountain bikes. All my plans include riding bikes and anywhere I travel, the bikes come with. I am also passionate about riding dirt bikes almost as much as riding bikes. I'm not sure why, but there is some attraction in a two wheeled machine with a throttle that can scare the crap out of you, yet it keeps calling you back for more. My other hobbies include cooking, snowboarding, skateboarding, and just about anything involving athletics.
In the off season of racing I get to ride my pump track, enjoy my good friends dirt jump park in his back yard and ride all the gnarly trails of Tucson. Any downhill you want to ride in Tucson, you sure have to ride up to ride down. If I am not in Tucson riding you can find me in Phoenix, Flagstaff, Sedona or even Sunrise Arizona, blazing the trails.
